Product Description STEP 1: Remove the old garage door bottom seal. Scrape dirt and corrosion from the seal track using a screwdriver and a stiff brush.

STEP 2: Tape the aluminum track to the bottom of the garage door and install screws. Ensure the interface between the track is perfectly aligned.

STEP 3: Lubricate the rubber with dish soap. One person guides the seal into the track while the other feeds it. Two people can make the installation easier.

STEP 4: Once the seal strip is in place, close the garage door and run your hand along the bottom to ensure there are no gaps.

GARAGE DOOR WEATHER KIT: This package includes a 16.5 ft long "U+O" ring garage door bottom weather seal, a screwdriver, paper tape, 36 screws, and 10 aluminum retainers (1.64 ft each). The aluminum rails and seals are longer than the data length to allow for adjustments and cutting as needed.

INSTALLATION TIPS: Clean the bottom of the garage door before starting the installation. Pre-drill the rail for easy attachment to the door bottom with screws. Applying detergent on the guide rail gap will make the rubber seal easier to install.
